Implementation

We ensure the success of your project – With our implementation partners and a script that centers on you and your requirements.

Smooth implementation, step by step

For a perfect implementation process, we combine the knowledge of a modern tech company with the latest banking expertise. In this way, all of your institution’s processes are mapped – from lead qualification to loan closing to existing customer care.

Phase 1: Define

Introductory video conferences between the fintus team, your chosen implementation partner and your project team to define project responsibilities and roles, review the scope and your statement of work, and set the timeline for the initial steps.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS STEP

  • This is where the expectations for the job are set
  • Delineating roles between fintus as the vendor, you as the customer and the implementation partner
  • Communicating the importance of critical tasks that must be completed by both parties to ensure consistent progress and adherence to the project schedule
  • Establishing an appropriate process and rules for handling project issues that may arise during the assignmen

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  • Formal introduction of our project team
  • Facilitating an understanding of the resources and coordination required to complete the project within the specified timeframe
  • Discussion of project logistics and general issues

WHAT THIS MEANS TO US AND OUR PARTNER

  • Demonstrating the best practice implementation framework to deliver the project on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Taking a leadership role to manage the project and ensure you are comfortable with the approach and framework.

  • Definition of the rules of collaboration
  • Planning weekly status meeting
  • Escalation rules
  • Introduction of project terminology
  • Identification of all project risks

Step 2: Integrate

We work closely with you to understand exactly how the data in your core systems is currently set up and structured. Before our partners begin configuration, we thoroughly analyze this structure in a series of workshops. This ensures that we know and understand your data flows, the leading systems and the relationships between them.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS STEP

  • Gaining a deeper understanding of the technical architecture behind the business requirements.
  • Identifying, planning and resolving fundamental differences between the core and our data model

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  • After completing the initial data transfer, we can demonstrate and test the real data transfer from the core environment
  • The fintus interfaces are available to you and our partner and the first integration tests are possible

WHAT THIS MEANS TO US AND OUR PARTNER

  • We can start identifying and reconciling differences between your core system and our optimized data model
  • Our partner’s project specialists receive important information about how you categorize credit relationships, loans, deposits, products and companies.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS STEP

  • Successful import of your core data (loans, borrowing companies, borrowing individuals, contacts and collateral) into the fintus Suite.
  • Creation of a data mapping document showing all data conversions between your core environment and us

Step 3: Align

This step is about effectively analyzing your current business process and gaining a deeper understanding of your company’s strengths and challenges. This includes a review of any gaps in the current credit process and a detailed walk-through to see how a loan, application or process flows through the bank.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS STEP

  • Collaborative modeling of processes with our partner via BPMN 2.0 terminology in stimulating workshops.
  • Creating enthusiasm and synergy between the two teams as the value and understanding of our system grows
  • Fostering a team atmosphere and creating even stronger working relationships to ensure the success of the project

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  • After the initial data transfer is complete, we can demonstrate and test the real data transfer from the core environment
  • Your processes – which are theoretical today – are configured in a practical way and optimized together with our partner

WHAT THIS MEANS TO US AND OUR PARTNER

  • Our project specialists receive important information about how you categorize credit relationships, loans, deposits, products and companies.
  • As a standard solution, the fintus Suite is adapted to your requirements and we receive initial feedback from users

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS STEP

  • Successful loading of your core data (loans, borrowing companies, borrowing individuals, contacts and collateral) into our environment
  • Creation of a data mapping document showing all data conversions between your core fintus environment

Phase 4: Configure

The goal of this step is to customize and build a working solution that meets your business requirements. In Step 4, the features and functionality defined and outlined in the configuration and specification plan are demonstrated and jointly refined and customized using agile methods.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS STEP

  • Transfer of all processes via the Process Orchestrator into the fintus platform.
  • Configuration of interfaces, forms, masks
  • Highly agile approach – the solution is configured individually in small work packages
  • First members of your staff get involved in the configuration process and enable a medium-term transfer of the configuration to your own company.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  • You see the working base model customized and configured according to the defined specifications.
  • We host multiple “walk-through” sessions to showcase the base solution and familiarize users with the layout, features and functionality.
  • Preview and prepare for vigorous customer participation during the user acceptance testing and validation process.

WHAT THIS MEANS TO US AND OUR PARTNER

Configuration components include:

  • Roles, rights, groups, etc.
  • Products, dependencies, definitions
  • Document manager (input and output)
  • Approval process(es), workflows and escalation levels
  • Reports and dashboards

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS STEP

  • A fully functional baseline solution that effectively demonstrates the process as per your additional feedback.
  • We will demonstrate how to edit / execute processes from end to end in the fintus Suite.

Step 5: Validate

We start by training the pilot team or begin “train the trainer” sessions to empower you and the users.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS STEP

  • Provides a comprehensive, hands-on look at how the entire solution will work in the institution
  • Hands-on training for the pilot team and users, as well as training for trainers
  • Beginning to run pilot processes with the working solution in place
  • Feedback to us via the feedback loop to make final adjustments in preparation for live operation

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  • Provides the pilot team with an opportunity to expand knowledge of the platform and its success
  • Illustrates how the configured fintus system components and processes fit into the bank’s workflow
  • All users must complete the fintus University product training to ensure they are prepared to use the system.

WHAT THIS MEANS TO US AND OUR PARTNER

  • Lead user acceptance training (UAT) sessions.
  • Documenting all customer feedback
  • Making adjustments based on testing and feedback

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS STEP

  • UAT acceptance by you

Step 6: Deploy

Completion in preparation for all users to roll out the system across the bank and go live.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS STEP

  • The implementation phase or “Go Live” is the culmination of the project and the most critical point to ensure full user adoption. That’s because this is the first formal introduction of the fintus platform to the majority of users in the organization.
  • The “Go Live” should be positioned as a public event that requires the full participation of multiple business units.
  • The successful launch of the fintus Suite is an important milestone in improving the way the organization works and communicates on a daily basis.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  • Coordination of all internal resources and users
  • Training (available concepts, implementation, qualification)

WHAT THIS MEANS TO US AND OUR PARTNER

  • “Go Live” gives our team the first opportunity to demonstrate to you how the platform works and scales in a live environment.
  • Intensive training and feedback loops

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS STEP

  • You will be “live” with your fintus suite, working on processes
  • Minor misconfigurations and new requirements are promptly implemented

Step 7: Success

This step involves refining and improving the system in collaboration with you and in an iterative process to ensure that it meets all the bank’s needs and objectives over time. This includes an intensive hypercare phase conducted by our partner with upgrades, enhancements and training.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS STEP

  • Your success begins with implementation and continues throughout the customer relationship, allowing you to take full advantage of the fintus Suite capabilities and achieve your business goals.
  • Project managers and sponsors at your bank should form a steering committee that meets regularly to evaluate the use of the platform and optimize its success.
  • Specific business metrics and goals should be defined, measured and monitored in conjunction with platform adoption and results.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

  • Proactive monitoring and support to ensure maximum system use
  • Cross-enterprise integration and adoption
  • Maximizing ROI and value
