2022 - how will the markets behave? Are rising interest rates and rampant inflation an opportunity or a risk? We have been able to make the best of a year full of uncertainties.
We had set ourselves ambitious goals for 2022. Thanks to a team that went every extra mile and always successfully adapted to changing situations, we were also able to achieve these goals. We exceeded the planned growth in headcount thanks to outstanding HR activities, strengthening our Software Development and Customer Success teams in particular. Internal processes and structures were adjusted and the organization prepared for further growth.
In addition to the team reinforcement, the key to our continued rapid growth was our low-code banking platform fintus Suite. The fintus Suite gives financial institutions the opportunity to digitize and automate their business and, in particular, credit processes. The fintus Suite offers private and commercial customers and existing customers innovative digital (paperless) application and contract conclusion channels in addition to the digital banking workplace as a central digital workplace for credit checking and credit decisions.
In 2022, we again invested more than 10,000 person-days in the further development of the fintus Suite. One of the focal points was to improve the realization of complex financing as well as the further automation of decisions by connecting new external information services. With a high degree of continuity, we provided new functions every 8 weeks and planned new functions for the platform in exchange with our customers and partners.
Together with existing and new partners, we were able to successfully launch the fintus platform for new customers in 2022. In the process, the trend of joint projects, in which our customers realize the introduction or expansion of the platform together with our implementation partners, became increasingly apparent. To solidify this trend, our Customer Success team has invested a lot of time and love in our Expert:in training program as well as in our support portal. In 2023, we will therefore have a large number of newly trained fintus Experts and will be able to jointly implement projects of any size.
Another highlight in 2022 was the Deloitte Fast 50 Award. With a growth rate of 307.31 percent, we successfully demonstrated the success of the company and the platform. This makes fintus one of the fastest growing technology companies.
With the start of the new year, we will expand our management team with a Chief Commercial Officer as well as Chief Financial Officer to reflect our ambitious growth targets. We have successfully mastered 2022, after a short breather we are now looking forward to ambitious goals in 2023!
